RTE star Kathryn Thomas has shared an incredible video from her “beautiful” family ski trip in France.
The Operation Transformation host, her restaurateur partner Padraig McLaughlin and their two kids together – Ellie, 6 and Grace, 2, have been enjoying some quality time together on the trip.
The family-of-four jetted off to Chatel, France with Kathryn’s sister’s family.
In a video posted to her Instagram story, the 45-year-old could be seen sitting on a ski gondola as it glided across the cable.
A delighted Kathryn said: “What a day! Good morning. Lots of people are wondering where I am. What part of the world of am I in?
“Ehm so we are skiiing in Chatel, well we’re just outside Chatel in France.
“My dad has been coming here for years. This was the first ski holiday I ever went on when I was 16 was here to Chatel.
“I haven’t been back since then and I’m kind of rediscovering the area.”
The mum-of-two couldn’t help but gush over the stunning ski resort as she added: “This is just beautiful, we’ve been so lucky with the snow.”
The Carlow woman then told followers how she got her kids prepared before the holiday.
She said: “So we put Ellie into ski school, who is six, just turned six. And she is loving it.”
Kathryn admitted that her little one was now spending “two hours everyday” skiiing on the slopes.
The host also revealed that her sister and her baby were on the trip with them.
Kathryn said: “The two of us are taking it in turns to manage the kids. A lot of tag teaming.”
Meanwhile, Kathryn shared a heart-melting tribute to her daughter on her sixth birthday.
The host shared an adorable video of Ellie showing how much she has grown since she was born.
Along with pictures of Ellie as a newborn, Kathryn shared some funny snaps of her as a toddler.
She also added in some recent clips of Ellie starting school and having fun with her baby sister.
Kathryn captioned her post: “My baby is 6 today. Happy Birthday angel.
“I didn’t believe in magic until I met you.”
