CAT Deeley has opened up about her surprising sleeping arrangement with her hubby Patrick Kielty saying “it’s just one of those things.”
The TV host spoke candidly about her relationship to her This Morning co-host Ben Shepard recently.
In the segment on ITV’s breakfast show, Cat and Ben were speaking to a married couple who told how they sleep in separate bedrooms.
The 47-year-old then revealed that herself and her Late Late Show hubby, Patrick, also sleep in separate bedrooms.
Speaking on the show, the host said: “It’s one of those things that because of our schedule here, from Monday to Thursday I sleep in the guest bedroom.
“And the rest of the time I’m back because otherwise I get up at 5am and I want to fall asleep earlier.”
The popular presenter continued to explain that it’s all a matter of logistics and balancing each other’s schedules.
One of the other panellists taking part in the segment rebutted: “Well that’s logistics, you’ve got an odd job that makes you get up early. You have to! But I do think if you can sleep together why not.”
The star’s husband Patrick Kielty had also been managing a hectic schedule.
The 53-year-old had been flying over and back from London to Dublin, so he could host the Late Late Show on RTE every Friday night. His show has now finished for the summer.
Cat often shares details of her personal life on This Morning and she recently revealed a blunder her son made.
On the show, Cat, Ben and their guests discussed who their look-alike’s were.
The British presenter then shared a hilarious story about a time when herself and Patrick were travelling on a flight with their kids.
The 47-year-old said: “We were on an aeroplane and British Airways had just changed their security video.
“Our kids had been sitting there for ages just waiting to take off and everybody was watching it.”
The popular host then continued to explain how chef Gordon Ramsay appeared on the screen and Cat’s son Milo shouted “Da-da!”.
Both Cat and Ben erupted into fits of laughter as Cat humorously added: “This kid knows something I don’t, I have nothing to do with this.”
Ben then asked: “And how old was Milo?”
Cat replied: “He was probably about four-years-old?”
